There once was a remarkable tin soldier who fell in love with a beautiful paper dancer and then tumbled out of a window so beginning a perilous journey into the unknown…
This playful retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s poetic story uses light, projected animations and simple materials that are skilfully transformed through puppetry to create a theatrical experience that will engage and touch young hearts and minds.

English Civil War Family Fun Day
Saturday 14 October | West Berkshire Museum | 10am – 3pm | Free
Drop-in and meet the historical re-enactors from the English Civil War Society in period costume who will tell you about life in 17th century West Berkshire as well as demonstrate skills and crafts that you can have a go at. There will be a themed trail and also an opportunity to handle replica objects, and colour in a scene of the English Civil War with a chance to win museum goodies!
